Tricia McCarthy 10x10

McCarthy graduated with a first class honours fine art degree in ’04 and is artist in residence with UCHG’s Arts Trust. She has exhibited at Galway Arts Festival, ev+a and is a member of the MART collective.
With her recent diagnosis with a terminal disease, McCarthy has been restored to an almost child-like state with family and medical professionals taking care of her every move.
This is reflected in her current work where she uses mixed media to explore the world through a child’s eyes.
